Mainstreaming of You Tube

Sometime ago I was writing about the YouTubbing of the Mainstream Media. We can now talk about Mainstreaming of YouTube: For those who missed it YouTube has started a news vlog (video blog) called Citizennews posting the news worthy videos from the YouTube collection. New opportunities for talented citizen journalists to become famous and the world to see in one place what we do not see in the news. I hope Olivia (the news manager of the service according to her statement) will spare us from some of the stupid, tasteless or even gruesome content we often see in TouTube (and other similar sites)
